"Too ... like the lightening." Lightening with an "e" is a transitive predicate for reducing the load, easing the burden. Shakespeare's term is lightning with no "e," the bright and powerful discharge of static electricity that occurs in flashes during thunderstorms. But that's a minor spelling fault in an otherwise gorgeously evocative artpiece.
